One of our core aims for Gathenhiemlska Huset is to open up the House to a broad range of artistic activities. Over the last few months we’ve hosted everything from dance workshops to opera; art exhibitions to film recording. It’s incredibly special to see the House brought to life through these activities and, in turn, to see the inspiring impact that the space has on these activities.
Last weekend, we welcomed musician and artist Tilde Hjelm to Gathenhielmska Huset for what we hope will be the start of a long collaboration.
Tilde spent a day at the House, along with producers / engineers Klara Goliger and Linnea Ljungblad, to record the first song of her debut album, which will be recorded in different locations over the course of 2021. We can’t wait to hear the finished song.
